Description

SonRise Camp is a five day overnight summer Bible camp where volunteers ago 14-retirement come to be paired one-on-one with an adult with a developmental and intellectual disability. During this week, volunteers will assist the adult camper they are paired with in various camp activities, Bible studies, and personal needs. The volunteers will build a strong one-on-one friendship with the adult camper, and both are an integral part of the Christian community formed during a week of SonRise Camp. We also have opportunities for adults to serve as
cabin leaders, nurses, or kitchen crew. Cost for the week is a suggested fee of $125. Check our website for more information www.bethesdasonrise.org
