Every Creature Counts

There is an abandoned/homeless cat wondering around our neighborhood for awhile. I’ve accidently found his/her hiding place so I’ve been feeding the cat, and meanwhile I’ve been calling & emailing all the “No Killing” shelters that I knew in hope of one of them can adopt this poor cat to give he/she a chance to find a good home. I thought that the chance for a cat to get adopted by a good family is greater thru the shelters. I don’t want to call animal control because the possibility of higher risk for cat gets killed. Do you know there are 13 so call “No kill” shelters around Denver, Colorado areas that I knew of? 13 shelters!!! NOT ONE, NOT ONE, shelters response to my plea for help for this poor abandoned cat. Including this “Every Creature Counts”, they totally ignored my calls and emails, no reply whatsoever. Isn’t the mission of shelters is to save the abandoned animal in needs!!! What is the good if the time of needs came but such shelters don’t provide it
