One Ark is a new organization driven by the ambition, creative talent, and vision of young inspired individuals with the desire to change the way people think about helping others.
Today’s world is driven by the increasing pressure to do more with less resources.People struggle to establish individuality and presence and along our journey, we often times loose sight of what matters most: the time given to us and the people we choose to spend it with. Through One Ark, we will help people remember the value of being kind to strangers, doing good deeds and improving the world around us through the contagious act ofhelping one another.
One Ark promotes acts of random kindness throughout the St. Louis, MO community in two ways.
1. One Ark enables individuals to nominate fellow citizens or groups for random acts of kindness through our user friendly website, mail-in nominations, email, or directly at our office.
2. One Ark promotes the importance of random acts of kindness by empowering people to spread kindness, through One Ark kits and One Ark ideas in their neighborhood.
We do not have a certain niche or type of people and groups we help (ie children, homeless, elderly, etc.). We are here for everyone. Our projects are chosen on a first-come, first-serve basis, with priority projects taking first consideration. All missions are chosen by our One Ark comittee.
