All it Takes is your Desire to Change a Life!

Who can be a mentor?

Anyone with the desire to positively affect a motivated studen't life! Mentors must be 21 years of age, submit an application, attend two mentor trainings, and complete a criminal background check.

What will I be doing?

In the junior year mentos guide mentees through a summer enrichment application process followed by the mock college application process. In the senior year mentors guide their mentees through the college research and application process.

What is the time commitment?

mentors and mentees meet twice per month on Saturdays for 1.5 hours. Mentors can be involved between 8 to 16 months. Many Adopt-a-Junior mentors continue on with their mentee during their senior year of high school through the Adopt-a-Senior program.
