Be Healthy Denver

Description

Be Healthy Denver is a new program to assess, monitor, and spearhead health improvement initiatives within Denver. This program is a collaboration between Denver Environmental Health and Denver Public Health. We are partnering with a steering committee representing over 30 community-based and governmental organizations.

During the beginning of 2012 we completed a Health Assessment of Denver and are now working on a health improvement plan. As part of this effort, we are hosting 6 community events. Each event will have one hour of informational booths, activities, and food, followed by a 1.5 hour facilitated listening session. Community members can directly influence our Community Health Improvement Plan and health in their communities.
