Men and women diagnosed with, undergoing treatment for, living with or touched by cancer are battling more than the manifestations of the disease. Each experiences an emotional journey that can dramatically affect lifestyle, psyche, physical appearance and relationships with friends and family. Although the course of the disease varies from individual to individual, many of the feelings are the same: fatigue, nausea, sadness, an overwhelming sense of helplessness, loss of control and loss of meaning.
