Description
Naomi's Way, Inc. is the 501(c)(3) non-profit which runs the Wallace Avenue Soup Kitchen. The Wallace Avenue Soup Kitchen was established over 20 years ago to nutritionally support and provide healthy meals in a restaurant-style setting to all patrons. The "Soup Kitchen" prepares meals that are wholesome in nature. A significant amount of our contributors are organic suppliers. We began serving meals only two days per week. Today, this totally volunteer staff now operates four days a week and serves over 100 meals per day to the elderly, disabled veterans, men, women and children from all communities. We also provide a clothing bank, post job training opportunities; and have health screenings (flu, high blood pressure, cholesterol, diabetes).
