Mission Statement

Coalition for Emotional Literacy (CEL) aligns with administrators and teachers (4th-12th grades) who want to achieve higher attendance, performance and graduate rates and with teachers and students who want to enjoy their classroom activities more.

Description

CEL works for students to have a positive attachment to classroom learning. We accomplish this noble goal by collaborating with others to implement the wisdom of common sense, the heart of loving kindness, and the resting heart of physical fitness through new or existing curricula. We call this the new intelligence, emotional literacy.
