To advocate a drug-free society, to promote a community-wide coalition, and to build grass-roots collaborative programs to address substance abuse and related social ills in the Montgomery area, particularly among youth.

Description

SAYNO is an acronym for Substance Abuse Youth Networking Organization. In 1988 SAYNO was founded as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization to address the growing substance abuse problem among youth by promoting and coordinating collaborative activities in the River Region area (Montgomery, Elmore, Autauga, Lowndes and Macon Counties).

Philosophy

Our programs and activities incorporate the wellness wheel philosophy to addresses the physical, mental, spiritual, career, social, family and financial aspects of an individual’s life. When these components are equally balanced, a person is at their highest wellness level.
