Mission Statement

Memphis Recovery Centers, Inc., (MRC) is committed to providing professional, cost-effective treatment services to youth, adults, and their families who are experiencing significant life problems due to the abuse of alcohol or other addictive drugs. Individuals with addiction and co-occurring disorders receive services intended to return the individual to an adaptive level of spiritual, physical, emotional, social and occupational functioning.

Description

Memphis Recovery Centers (MRC) is a licensed, accredited, 501 (C) 3 non-profit organization located in Memphis, Tennessee, treating individuals with drug and alcohol addictions. MRC has two residential youth programs addressing the needs of adolescents ages 13-17, with one specifically addressing the needs of children in state custody. We have an out-patient recovery school, Transitions Learning Center, which provides a transitional placement for students coming from intensive treatment settings. Our Adult Services Program serves adult men and women, with separate accommodations for each. Patients work toward their goal of recovery based on the twelve-step program. Treatment consists of assessment, stabilization of physical needs, individual counseling, group therapy, alcohol and drug education, family therapy, job readiness preparation, recreation, and introduction to community based support systems.
