Mission Statement

We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to the prevention of animal suffering. We are a "no-kill" dog & cat shelter serving the St. Louis metro-east area. Our goal is to rescue and provide food, shelter and care to stray, unwanted, and abandoned dogs and cats, then find them new, loving homes to live out the rest of their lives in.. We help to educate the public on the care of and responsibility of owning a pet. The Association for the Protection of Animals, Inc is located in Granite City, Illinois.

Description

We are a no-kill shelter helping to find new homes for around 500 animals per year. We help dogs, cats, puppies and kittens. Our animals range from young to old and from small to large.
