Mission Statement

To improve the security and stability of our communities, California must increase the supply of housing for everyone. The mission of Housing California is to prevent homelessness and to increase the amount of decent, safe, permanently affordable and accessible housing available to homeless and low income families and individuals in California.

Description

Housing California is the statewide coalition of over 1,000 regional and local housing advocates, nonprofit developers and homelessness service organizations. We lobby on state-level policy and budget matters in an effort to increase housing opportunities for homeless and very low-income households. We organize the nation's largest annual conference on housing and homelessness with attendance of over 1400 people.
