Missionand Role Statement

A. The Oakley Library’s mission is threefold: (I) We strive to develop and maintain systems for the delivery of materials and services that will meet the greatest demands of the patrons of the area we serve. (2) We act as an educational support system for the patrons of our district, particularly students of all ages. (3) We will continue to provide high interest materials in a variety of formats for patrons of all ages, on a year-round basis. We will make available activities that will stimulate and maintain the interest of preschoolers and elementary students during the summer. We also intend to maintain a minimum of three computers for public access.
