The "Treasure Shop," is volunteer-run, consignment antique shop where items arrive primarily from residents of the nearby Vinson Hall retirement community. Staff/Volunteers are very friendly, relaxed and close-knit. Working with this community requires a good attitude, patience and an understanding that older folks are not always tech-savvy. I sent an email, put in a phone-call and was volunteering within a few weeks! There is a wide range of merchandise cycling in and out every week, and it's always fascinating to see what items arrive and depart the store!
