Mission Statement

The Girls Rule! Foundation

Girls Rule! is an organization that provides educational programs that build bright futures.
Our programs consist of four main moduals:
1. Building & Maintaing Self-Esteem
2. Making wise and healthy choices
3. Mapping and leadership skills that will help them set and achieve goals
4. Building a step-by-step plan for their unqiue future

Description

Our educational programs are specifically designed for girls ages 13-18.Through our educational events like workshops and seminars, and our collateral like upcoming videos and workbooks, Girls Rule! educates and inspires young women to seek their own healthy, successful future.

Traditional Teen Program - Shine Brightly- The Shine Brightly program recognizes that regardless of social class, grades, activity/sports/clubs involvement, popularity, etc a young girl is always at risk for making decisions that compromise her true self and personal values. Our programming focuses on self esteem, wise choice making, role models, and future mapping.

Imprisoned Teen Program - The Interruption - This program is called The Interruption, which consists of live programs and a workbook. Both are created to inspire and empower young women who are incarcerated. The program will be piloted in 3 heavily incarcerated states; Arizona, North Carolina and Tennessee. This program focuses on empowerment through new ways of knowing and loving themselves. By redefining themselves and breaking the cycles of the past they build a new concept of who they are (brilliant, beautiful, and bold), they remove the obstacle of the past and focus on creating a new future. Through the workbook they get tangible tips, advice and resources to help build a productive and healthy future.
