Description

Founded in 1888, Sheltering Arms is Georgia's oldest, and one of its most respected, early education and child care organization. Each year we serve 4,000children, ages 6 weeks-8 years old, and their families in 16 neighborhood centers in 7 metropolitan Atlanta counties. All centers are nationally accredited and are available to all families, regardless of the parents' ability to pay. In addition to providing child care that allows families to work and provide for their children, our educational curriculum helps prepare children for school success. Our comprehensive support services for families set us apart. As one parent said, "At Sheltering Arms, they don't just care for the child. They care for the whole family."
