Mission Statement

To aide wrap around resources while providing temporary housing for women with children.Our primary responsibility is to edify each individual's conception of homelessness and to help them transition into affordable housing

Description

Darkim is a transitional living environment for women located on the southside of Chicago. We've been servicing the homeless population since April 2004. Our intent to help guide a Recovery Method is conducive to the outcome of each residents next phase of their development. In addition to this method we interact with professional outreach programs which contributes strength to self worth allowing their views of everyday living to become a factor in today's society.
