LifeWorks offers one on one, peer, and group mentoring opportunities for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender youth ages 14-24.

Description

Our goal is to help GLBTQ youth to realize their goals and dreams with a safe space, positive and affirming role models, and workshops & activities that are fun and educational.

I've been volunteering at Lifeworks for the past three years. Their staff is full of fun, positive, amazing people that are dedicated and super hard-working. The youth are great and really look forward to the events that Lifeworks puts on which makes volunteering for them even more fun and worth while.

I did this event last year--it was low-key, easy, fun, interesting, and the energy from all the kindred spirits was invigorating! I made new friends and got a couple of dates out of it, too....
