Mission Statement

The mission of Minnesota Fighting AIDS on Bikes (MN-FAB) is to educate the public about HIV and to raise funds and awareness to support Minnesota AIDS Service organizations. To do this, we will organize and produce the Red Ribbon Ride - a safe ride for the participants and fiscally responsible for the benefiting agencies.

Description

Red Ribbon Ride is a fully supported 2 day bicycle event to raise vital funds for HIV/AIDS services, treatment, prevention and awareness. This year's Ride will be held on July 20 - 22, 2018 at One Heartland, a beautiful sleep-away camp in North Central MN creating life-changing camp experiences for youth facing social isolation, intolerance or serious health challenges, including HIV.

This two-day ride will feature multiple out and back distance options (including a Century option), onsite housing and delicious home cooked meals, options for camping and all of the beauty and fun One Heartland has to offer (campfire, hiking, swimming, canoeing, goats). Transportation to and from One Heartland will be available. Distance options and descriptions will be available on the website soon.

The Red Ribbon Ride benefits 5 HIV/AIDS service agencies here in Minnesota; African American AIDS Task Force, Hope House of St. Croix Valley, One Heartland, Rural AIDS Action Network and The Aliveness Project. Whether you are first time participant, experienced veteran, looking for a physical challenge, cycling through Minnesota or have a connection to the cause the Red Ribbon Ride is for you. Join us. Make your difference.
