Mission Statement

The mission of Minnesota Fighting AIDS on Bikes (MN-FAB) is to educate the public about HIV and to raise funds and awareness to support Minnesota AIDS Service organizations. To do this, we will organize and produce the Red Ribbon Ride - a safe ride for the participants and fiscally responsible for the benefiting agencies.

Description

Eight different AIDS service organizations in Minnesota have come together to form the Minnesota Fighting AIDS on Bikes nonprofit organization, which will create and produce the Red Ribbon Ride. MN-FAB consists of the following HIV/AIDS service organizations: African American AIDS Task Force, The Aliveness Project, Clare Housing, Hope House of St. Croix Valley, Minnesota AIDS Project, One Heartland, Park House, and Rural AIDS Action Network. A four day, 300 mile bike ride that will start with an Opening Ceremony at 6:00am at the Mall of America West Market Square on Thursday, July 17th, and end with a spectacular closing ceremony at 1:30pm at Minnesota State Capitol on Sunday, July 20th.
