Hope for Tomorrow, a Child and Family Support Center is a nonprofit organization that was established to cultivate healthy bonds between children and their families, working in collaboration with community partners to provide quality-driven, compassionate care in a safe, supportive environment. Services include supervised parenting time, facilitated and third-party custody exchange, Guided Parenting Visitation, and reunification, family, and pediatric counseling.
Visiting between parents and their children in foster care is generally considered to be the most important factor contributing toward timely family reunification, a major feature of permanency planning for children in foster care. Child witnesses of domestic violence also benefit from supervised visitation as it reduces the potential for physical and psychological harm.
Hope for Tomorrow, a Child and Family Support Center was created to provide children with the opportunity to establish and/or continue a normal, healthy relationship with the non-custodial parent(s) with supervised visitation and exchange services that ALWAYS emphasize the safety and well-being of the child first.
Created in February 2012, we are located in Washington, NJ and are pursuing federal tax-exempt status for this calendar year. We currently have a board of directors consisting of professionals in the community with a vested interest in making our communities safer, happier places for our children to thrive.
Hope for Tomorrow is made up of professionally trained staff in order to appropriately supervise children during parenting time and exchanges.
