Darlynn's Darlins, Inc.

This animal rescue is a great place to volunteer. The couple who run the place are very good, honest people who work very hard 24/7/365 for their animals- hundreds of them! I think they know the names of every one of them, their history and their habits. Volunteers will learn a lot about pigs and other farm animals, (domestic animals, too) as well as the animal rescue and protection world. Florida Voices for Animals has volunteer days there to work and teach their children about compassion for life. I have worked there planting bananas, spread seeds for forage, building and repairing fences, building sheds and preparing feed for the pigs, goats, a huge, young bull bull, a rescued thorough horse, a dozen rescued dogs, feral cats, etc. I recommend Darlynn's Darlins for anyone seeking worthwhile experience in animal care and protection and who wants to make a difference in our world.
