Mission Statement

Darlynn's Darlins advocates change in outdated belief systems and supports equal respect and consideration for non human beings. Beliefs and actions that are undeniably beneficial to us, respectful and considerate of them, also support conservation of our natural resources, long term environmental sustainability, and better human health. Through our hands on, No Kill, Humane rescue/shelter facility and our educational programs designed for the development of connected minds and healthy bodies, we suggest and promote alternative choices that will improve the life experience for all...at the expense of none.

A large, working, diversified, No Kill, animal rescue, shelter, and educational facility. Our primary focus is the animal care and sanctuary facility, however, we also promote animal advocacy, freedom of information, and personal responsibility in life choices through our volunteer opportunities and shelter tours.

This animal rescue is a great place to volunteer. The couple who run the place are very good, honest people who work very hard 24/7/365 for their animals- hundreds of them! I think they know the names of every one of them, their history and their habits. Volunteers will learn a lot about pigs and other farm animals, (domestic animals, too) as well as the animal rescue and protection world. Florida Voices for Animals has volunteer days there to work and teach their children about compassion for life. I have worked there planting bananas, spread seeds for forage, building and repairing fences, building sheds and preparing feed for the pigs, goats, a huge, young bull bull, a rescued thorough horse, a dozen rescued dogs, feral cats, etc. I recommend Darlynn's Darlins for anyone seeking worthwhile experience in animal care and protection and who wants to make a difference in our world. Darlynn and Clinton can use internet and fundraising assistance. Go for it!!! Frank T, Ph.D.

I have met the proprietors of this organization and know for a fact that they put the concerns of the animals before their own.
