Mission Statement

The South Madison Coalition Of The Elderly brings people together who care about older adults in our community. Our purpose is to preserve the independence, dignity, and life satisfaction of older adults, and provide support for families and care givers.

Description

The South Madison Coalition is a non-profit organization providing social services for the older adults in our community. We have been in existence for over 30 years and currently employee approximately 25 people.

I have volunteered with South Madison Coalition of the Elderly for about 4 years now. I have helped serve meals on Sunday, driven older adults to a food pantry using community car, and have been a home chore volunteer for two fun ladies! I have always felt well supported by SMCE and can contact the friendly volunteer coordinator directly if I have concerns. I love what I do and will continue to volunteer here for years to come!!!
