Lighthouse Credit Foundation, Inc. (LCF) is a not-for-profit 501 (c)(3) credit-counseling agency, assisting consumers in need since its inception in July of 2000. Lighthouse was designed to ease financial worry by offering credit counseling and debt management services provided by its certified credit counselors. LCF also supports initiatives for adults that encourage, develop and sustain economic self-reliance, and youth programs that emphasize the fundamentals of economics, the importance of savings and the basics of personal financial management as well as school-to-work efforts and work experiences. LCF's mission is to support the efforts of community-based organizations to implement these initiatives at the neighborhood and national levels, as well as to design and deliver its own initiatives.
