Daughters of Sarah Senior Community

Description

For over 60 years, Daughters of Sarah has served the needs of the elderly as a not-for-profit nursing home. We are guided by local, dedicated community boards. We are now a recently expanded, renovated, beautiful eldercare campus featuring an assisted living facility and a single floor, all private room nursing home, where we offer a full range of skilled nursing services including respite care, rehabilitation, and an adult medical day program. Our Recreation Department for both facilities schedules several activities each day every day of the week. We regard ourselves as a family and urge our residents' families and friends to join us for our activites, parties, and holiday observances. We are proud to note that our caregiving staff who leave to oersue other opportuinities often return, citing our family ambience, cleanliness, and positive environmental aspects as very desireable. We recently met the requirements to recieve a $1 million challenge grant from the Harry and Jeannette Weinberg (of Baltimore, Md) Foundation.
