Mission Statement
Interfaith Emergency Services is a community of faith called by God to offer emergency assistance without judgment to all persons in Marion County.
Description
Interfaith provides a full range of emergency services and assistance. We serve individuals and families with children by providing basic needs to enhance their quality of life and items that will help them secure employment. Services include emergency food, clothing, prescription medications, identification cards, hygiene items and reading glasses. Interfaith has been helping its’ neighbors for over 30 years in Marion County.

Well for one Tina Reid, the volunteer coordinator, is one of the nicest people I have ever met. She and the other immediate staff members made the volunteer space very inviting and open to every one, whether you are helping or receiving help.

My 17 yr old son volunteers in the warehouse stocking shelves and loading groceries into client vehicles, while I provide data support in the intake office. We are so blessed to be of service to our community through interfaith.

I’ve been volunteering in the free clothing boutique for at least 2 years and have really enjoyed it. I retired from the sheriff’s office before I started to volunteer at Interfaith and wanted to volunteer specifically at Interfaith. In my years of work at the sheriff’s office, I referred many, many people to Interfaith and wanted to try and give back a little to the organization that gives so much to our community.

This is the BEST place for people to go for help. Because it's INTERfaith it's for ALL people BY all people. This organization has such a broad spectrum of services that I'm constantly blown away by the scope of what they offer. PLUS they are all kind, caring and loving. Who wouldn't want to volunteer at a place like this??

Interfaith has provided wonderful for opportunity for my kids and I to serve here in Marion County. It’s a challenge to find a service opportunity for children.
