The mission of the Care Train of Union County is to identify those who are facing economic challenges and assist in providing food and children's gifts in the holiday season.

Description

Care Train of Union County offers families in economic need an opportunity to receive gifts for their children and food vouchers in the holiday season. The organization accepts donations of toys and cash. The main fundraiser for the Care Train is an annual charity auction, held the second Saturday of December. The Care Train offers items and services donated by local businesses and individuals during this live auction, which is televised and broadcast on the local radio station, allowing for bids from both those in attendance and those who phone in.
