The Christian Appalachian Project is an interdenominational, non-profit faith-based organization committed to serving people in need in Appalachia by providing physical, spiritual and emotional support through a wide variety of programs and services.

Description

Christian Appalachian Project’s Operation Sharing Program distributes in-kind donations to people in need from 15 states. We distribute items such as personal hygiene supplies, food, clothing, books, educational aids, computers, toys, exercise equipment, furniture, and building supplies. These items are sent to public agencies and schools, community service organizations, Christian ministries and churches throughout the Appalachian region. The dollar amounts listed below represent the market value of goods distributed directly to various organizations, ministries, and churches throughout Appalachia.
