Mission Statement

The mission of the Box Elder Community Pantry is to receive, store and distribute donated and purchased food to the needy at no cost to the recipients.

Description

In 2010 we received 1,767,54 pounds of donated food worth $3,888,591 (using a rate of $2.20/pound per the State of Utah guideline for calculating sales tax refund) and we distributed 1,830,050 pounds of food worth $3,966,710. We helped 14,781 households (clients are counted which each time they are helped so the actual number of individual households is less than the total number reported). A total of 3,295 families received significant food support.
