Mission Statement

The Museum of Mobile will seek to interpret the cultural, social, economic and political history of the Mobile Bay area and Southwest Alabama, and its diverse population through the collection, exhibition, research and conservation of artifacts, from pre-history to the present and through related educational programs.

Description

Our museum tells the history of the city of Mobile, Alabama. We offer to the general public: both guided and self-guided tours of the museum; educational events for children, adults, and families; lectures on exhibit related topics; summer day camps; and other programs that may come about at different times of the year.
