Mission Statement

Hana Mission is here to practice the teaching of our lord Jesus Christ: Loving the Father, the Maker of human kind and loving our neighbors as ourselves.

Description

"Hana" means "One" in Korean. Hana Mission is nonprofit Christian organization founded in Paterson, New Jersey in September 1998. Hana Mission believes that all human beings are created in God's image, therefore, we are "one family" (Eph. 2). Because of this reason Hana Mission emphasizes that we should learn how to love each other across the boundaries, which are the product of human beings based on the differences in color, language and socioeconomic status of the people. With this conviction Hana Mission promotes physical and spiritual well-being of homeless people, substance abusers, ex-felons and the children from less privileged families.
