Mission Statement

The EPILEPSY SOCIETY of Kern County is a community based, non-profit organization dedicated to the advocacy and empowerment of individuals with epilepsy and other seizure disorders through education, personal counseling and encouragement, support groups, and promoting independence, self-sufficiency and responsibility. The purpose of the EPILEPSY SOCIETY of Kern County is to give hope and stability, encourage an optimal quality of life, show empathy, be successful and encourage perseverance, love, peace and steadfastness.
