This senior center at Our Lady of Pompeii Church serves food that is both poorly prepared (it's only served at Pompeii Church, not cooked there) and many times cold. I like to play bingo but Pompeii Church senior center discourages bingo from being played there due to a volunteer worker there named Josephine. One of the members told me that Josephine has told him that 'no one contributes' to whatever prizes are given for winning the bingo games, therefore, the kibosh is put on bingo games being played there. In addition, the tall woman director there has mentioned several times that there must be a half-dozen players ready to play bingo before it will be scheduled for that day! And this same director repeatedly fails to announce prior to the lunch served that bingo will be played that day if sufficient number of players are available. It's a gloomy senior center with poor lighting ... I usually attend the 20 North Washington Square one although that one is packed with people.
