Mission Statement

To prepare school-aged students with the attitudes, leadership skills and habits for lifelong learning and to inspire them to embrace our natural world with the respect and wonderment enabling them to be stewards of our natural resources.

Description

NatureTrack provides outdoor field trips for all Santa Barbara County school-aged children during the traditional school day, at no cost to your school or students. Founded in November 2011, NatureTrack has already provided outdoor field trip adventures for more than 600 Santa Barbara County students led by trained volunteer naturalists. Our goal is to provide 4,000 students with this life changing experience in the coming school year, and more students in the years to come.

The trips are fun, engaging for students and meet school curriculum requirements, fulfilling NatureTrack’s mission of preparing students with the attitudes, leadership skills and habits for lifelong learning and inspiring them to embrace our natural world with the respect and wonderment.

NatureTrack strives to create stewards of our natural world by exposing students to the outdoors and encouraging them to enjoy what nature has to offer.
