Mission Statement

The mission of FEAR is to produce documentary multimedia works on sexual violence that will help communities begin an educated dialog that will address the issue. FEAR is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

Description

The FEAR Project is a non profit media corporation producing documentary work pertaining to sexual violence. The work maintains journalistic ethics and standards and augments what other sexual violence advocacy, education, and prevention services offer by providing editorial media that is visually, intellectually, and emotionally compelling. It is stylistically unique, artistic, contemporary, and new to the sexual violence advocacy market. Not simply an exercise in rape recollection, FEAR documents real people coping with the lasting effects of sexual assault through photo and radio journalism. The purpose of the project is to spark dialog which, it is hoped, will help build an understanding and compassionate community less likely to silence survivors. Instead, the community will be better equipped to help.
