Mission Statement

The Shared Ministry is an inner-city congregation on Allison Hill, committed to serving the community. We are two congregations united in ministry to one another and the community. We are motivated by our faith to be present in our community by reaching out to our neighbors.

Description

The Shared Ministry is dedicated to being present in our community. We provide community outreach in several different programs: Weekly Youth Tutoring Program, Youth Summer Day Camps, Community Day, Summer Bible School, Clothing Bank, Food Vouchers, Emergency Energy Assistance, Junior High Girls Group. We hope to expand our programming in the Fall of 2005 to include a Computer Tutoring Program, Community Computer Lab and Women's Literacy and Socialization Group. We also offer worship and study: Open Communion, Sunday Morning Fellowship, Adult Choir, Children and Adult Sunday School & Fourth Sunday Fellowship.
