Our mission is simple. We partner with the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, local community and business leaders and community volunteers to promote, support, improve and preserve Cloudland Canyon State Park.

Description

Friends of Cloudland Canyon State Park, a chapter of Friends of Georgia State Parks and Historic Sites, is a group of local volunteers who work to support Cloudland Canyon State Park in numerous ways. Our volunteers often help out with special events, improvement projects and maintenance tasks at the park. Through partnerships with local business and community leaders, we help fund site improvements, maintenance needs and interpretive programming.

I have participated with this group for the last couple of years and will enthusiastically recommend that this is the type of opportunity that anyone can enjoy. There is something for everyone, from leaders to followers and everyone in between. Come on out and enjoy a group that you offers so many different opportunities!
