A non profit organization founded by Alice Cooper, dedicated to enriching the lives of children through music, dance and self expression.

Description

Aiming to build a future of hope. The Solid Rock Teen Center at 32nd Street ministers to teens through music, dance, art, vocational training in sound, lighting, staging and fellowship in a new safe facility.

With so many public schools forced to cut vital programs like music and dance due to lacke of funding, the Rock Teen Center cultivates a love of the arts to inspire and challenge teens to choose artisitic excellence instead of drugs, guns or gangs.

The arts-based Teen Center serves not only as a creative sactuary, but as a new model for improving the lives and values of troubled teens that can be relicated throughout the Valley.

Our children need a safe place to play, study and create healthy relationships. The Rock is the place for this to happen. It will bring out their creative side whether it is music, art, dance or just a place to get their homework done. The staff and volunteers here are so passionate about teens which is a refreshing thought for me since so many teens are forgotten!
