Mission Statement

The New Carrollton branch is part of the Prince George's County public library system.

This is its mission:

Prince George's County Memorial Library System provides materials and information for study and personal enrichment. We offer strategies for lifelong learning through access to varied media and professional guidance by our staff. We focus all resources on the needs of our customers.

Description

The New Carrollton branch has public access computers, books, recorded books, magazines, CDs and DVDs available for check-out. We have a children's and an adult/teen department, each with an information desk staffed with librarians. We also have electronic resources available to our customers. All of these things allow our customers to work toward their personal goals. We have a used bookstore on the lower level and a smaller one on the main level.
