PCS is an advocate for Peninsula residents struggling with a compulsive hoarding disorder

Description

PCS provides support groups and cognitive behavior therapy groups for adult residents trying to cope with and overcome problems stemming from a hoarding disorder.

We follow an "Enhanced Harm Reduction" model in working with hoarders to de-hazardize and transform their homes into safer, healthier and more comfortable places to live - places where emergency responders can enter without undue concern for their own personal safety.

PCS is seeking to broaden its mission in helping hoarders program to include disaster preparedness for all Peninsula resident.
