HIFAA believes that health Insurance should be provided equitably as a public service rather than bought and sold as a for-profit commodity. HIFAA accepts as it's primary mission the need to incite and enlist public participation in petitioning The President and The United States Congress to pass legislation creating a comprehensive high quality publicly funded National Health Insurance Program, equitably available to all citizens and residents of the United States. HIFAA demands equitable availabilty and removal of the barriers to adquate health insurance currently faced by the Uninsured and Underinsured, including the Poor, Children, Minority Populations and Immigrants, both documented and undocumented. HIFAA identifies with the immediate need for fundamental Health Insurance For All Americans and opposes for-profit control, and especially corporate control, of the health insurance system and favors democratic control and public administration of Health Insurance For All Americans. HIFAA opposes current changes in the health insurance system that are designed to maximize the profits of investors and the incomes of their executives rather than to serve the national health insurance needs of all citizens and residents of the United States. HIFAA requests the endorsements of the general public in support of legislation providing Health Insurance For All Americans. HIFAA promotes discussion of this goal using the Internet, Paid Advertising, Public Service Announcements, Voter Seminars, Articles and Other Methods.
