Description

Thank you for interest in volunteering for CHADD. Provided below is some additional information about starting a CHADD support group. We look forward to hearing from you and appreciate your interest in helping your community. Who should volunteer? Our volunteers are people who have a strong desire to help their community, and feel comfortable sharing their personal experiences and knowledge about AD/HD with others. Because you have contacted us, we know that you have noticed a lack of personal support in your community, want to learn more about how you can help and that you have something that you can offer. We can certainly use your assistance in providing support to those affected by AD/HD. By becoming a support group facilitator, you can play an important part in helping us accomplish our mission. Volunteers must be at least eighteen years old. What do support groups do? Support groups provide assistance in their community by providing information, resources and a place for people to communicate with each other based on their shared interest. Support group leaders may also receive requests for immediate assistance for help from parents, adults and professionals. What are the benefits? The need is great and the rewards even greater. It is an opportunity to serve, grow, learn, make new friends, exchange ideas, and feel needed. Count Me In Just email or call us and let us know you're interested.
