As the nation's largest grassroots peace and disarmament organization, Peace Action works to promote practical, positive alternatives for peace.

Description

The Peace Action Education Fund is working to promote nuclear abolition, demilitarize U.S. foreign policy and redirect Pentagon waste to domestic needs. To this end, PAEF works to educate the public, media, and policy makers about specific peace and justice issues and to advocate policy alternatives. Peace Action, the merger of SANE and The Freeze, has effectively mobilized for peace and disarmament for over forty-five years.
