Mission Statement

To provide mentally and physically challenged individuals the opportunity to experience the joy and benefits of horseback riding to help them gain skills and independence that enrich every aspect of their daily lives.

H.E.L.P is a non profit organization that was started over 30 years ago by Pete Peters, a long time resident on Moorpark, California. He and his wife shared a love for horses and children, and developed a program whereby individuals with various diabiliites could experience the joy and benefits of riding horses. Pete is now 90 years old and still watches over the program while a dedicated group of volunteers meet every Saturday to provide riding and horse care opportunities for local disabled children.

Mr. Peters is a bad person. Because he had stolen my mare, her baby died. His son (who seems to be an alcoholic) trapped me with this car behind my trailer, so I couldn't take my mare from that awful place. His son called his biker friends to scare me into leaving. Mr. Peters says that he has no problem taking good horses to the auction. He lied to me and he only cares about how much money he makes. Don't let him fool you with his friendly attitude. If you are an attractive woman, he will hit on you. He hit on me and another boarder all the time. BEWARE!!!
