Mission Statement

Welcome To THLN!

We are a mainstream voice for the animals of Texas: companion animals, homeless animals, horses, farm animals, native Texas wildlife and exotic animals alike. THLN is the voice at the Texas Legislature for untold numbers of animals throughout Texas who suffer horrific abuse and tragic neglect at the hands of callous humans. If you agree that animals deserve compassion and their abusers deserve punishment, we invite you to answer the call to justice by joining the Texas Humane Legislation Network today. Protecting those who cannot protect themselves is a noble cause for which your life will be much better for having served.

You can help THLN help the animals in Texas and the U.S!

Thanks for your interest in getting involved with THLN to ensure that animals have fair and humane legal protections in Texas and throughout the United States. There are lots of ways that you can help!

Your help is especially needed during January through June of a legislative year, which falls every odd numbered year in Texas (ie: 2007). During this time, we need you to phone your legislators, mail letters, help with fund raising, assist in legal research, and join us at the Capitol to lobby the legislature.. During the off years, THLN works to determine the animal protection issues that we will pursue in the next session.
