Mission Statement

Our mission is to create, form, establish and operate a non-profit fraternal organization, composed of State Troopers who share the bond of service to the Marine Corps in the spirit of "Once a Marine, always a Marine"; to bring together the knowledge and experiences of Marines past and present, young and old and to benefit when necessary Military members and their families employed as New York State Troopers; to act as an extended family to our fellow Marines and to answer the call to provide comfort and assistance to families in need while their Military family member is in harms’ way; to provide care packages for Military members forward deployed and to provide emotional and economic support to Military memberss and their families wherever and whenever possible; to celebrate and foster the spirit of respect, loyalty and dedication to the principals of law and the mission and ideals of the State Police and the Marine Corps.

Description

Our purpose is to bring together the knowledge and experiences of Marines past and present, young and old and to benefit the Marines and family members employed as New York State Troopers when necessary.

Acting as an extended family to our fellow Marines, the Association will now answer the call. Your membership, donations, and volunteering for fundraisers will assist the NYSTMC Association in reaching our goals. Proceeds will provide comfort for families in need while their military family members are in harms way and provide care packages for Military members forward deployed. In the event that one of our Military members is wounded or does not come home, we would like to raise enough funds to provide what comfort we can to that Marine or his surviving family. We all hope and pray that the money will not be used for that. In that case, all surplus funds will eventually provide scholarships for children of Military members within our association who qualify.
