The mission of Hospice of the Ozarks is to improve the quality of life for people in the last phases of an incurable illness and their family members by providing a high level of comprehensive care.
Description
The goal of Hospice of the Ozarks is to provide support and care for individuals in the last phases of an incurable illness so they can live as fully and comfortably as possible. Hospice is designed to provide physical, social, spiritual, and emotional comfort to help both the patient and family cope with dying, death and the time that follows.
The hospice program is supported by Medicare, Medicaid, Champus, private insurance, memorials, donations and bequests. There are no charges to the patient or family for hospice services.
Hospice of the Ozarks is the only not-for-profit hospice serving Baxter and Marion Counties since 1979. We have the only 12 bed in-patient facility in North Central Arkansas.
