The mission of the Colorado Springs Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services Department is to serve the citizens of Colorado Springs with integrity through competent provision and management of parks, open spaces, urban forests, facilities, recreation and leisure services which provide or improve the quality of life and enhance the image of the City.

Description

The Colorado Springs Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services Department serves approximately 500,000 people annually through its programs and facilities which include six sports complexes, two recreation centers, four aquatics centers, almost 200 park sites, more than 13,000 acres of open space and over 100 miles of trails.
