A Gift For Teaching of Pinellas operates a free store where teachers from schools with the highest percentages of free/reduced lunch students can shop once-a-month for supplies such as paper, pencils, glue sticks, crayons, etc., the basics. To accomplish this, AGFTP gathers surplus items donated by businesses, groups, and individuals that teachers can give to their students for classroom use. At no cost to them, teachers can select up to a certain number of items during each shopping trip, depending on the items available for distribution on a particular day.
