Description

Spirit of Football is an NGO led by international students at the University of Erfurt, that works with the intention of fighting racism, promoting tolerance and fair play with the help of football (soccer) Spirit of Football will organize various sporting and cultural events in the city of Erfurt and the region of Thuringia at the same time as the 2006 FIFA World Cup (9th June â 9th July 2006). The idea behind these events is to enhance community development and promote social inclusion. The organization will use football as a platform for national and international advocacy and cooperation.
